In this “brave and heartbreaking novel that digs its claws into you and doesn’t let go, long after you’ve finished it” (Anna Todd, New York Times bestselling author) from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of All Your Perfects, a workaholic with a too-good-to-be-true romance can’t stop thinking about her first love.

Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. And when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life seems too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.

As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

An honest, evocative, and tender novel, It Ends with Us is “a glorious and touching read, a forever keeper. The kind of book that gets handed down” (USA TODAY).

Amazing read! It wasn’t over exaggerated in anyway and the story just flowed, leaves you satisfied.
  • There’s no such thing as a ‘perfect ending’

I’m not going to spoil the ending, I’m not even saying I didn’t like the outcome. I will say however, life is so uncertain and this story truly empowers how much we can decide our own fate, even when we can’t control another persons actions. What’s meant to be will always find a way and you will know the answers if you slow down and give yourself time to make choices. I love how Lily is relatable and inspiring all at the same time. I only take a star away because I think the story was trying to please everyone at the end and I am still left wondering so many “what ifs.” All in all, 9/10 would recommend :)

I loved every second of this book. It shows what strength really is and that nothing is ever really black and white nor is anyone ever just good or bad

I really love how Colleen Hoover writes each character and makes you fall in love with them. I love how this book gave me so much emotions while reading every chapter. One of my favorite books from her and of all time. This was so well written and had such a great story line with romance. The perfect balance between drama and romance. I could not put the book down I read this in 2 days.

I also had a ton of emotions in this book! I have never cried so hard! And been so mad at the same time. People y’all can disagree with me but I was a fan a Ryle! I could not get on board with Atlas, sorry! But that fact that she got mad at him for hurting her when she actually caused the problem. She could’ve told Ryle that night at the restaurant when everything went down about everything (journals, magnet, and the meaning behind the tattoo) but she didn’t. So I am mad at her, not him. They could’ve gone to marriage counseling and he could’ve gone to anger management. Anyway, very well written book. I love how detailed it is written! It really helps the readers feel like they are in the situation!
